By engaging with our services — including requesting a quote, submitting an order, or proceeding with installation — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any applicable terms outlined herein, including those related to pricing, installation, cancellation, and warranty.

  1. Payment

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing with ezSolar, payment must be made by the due date as specified, or stated on the invoice. If your payment is declined, dishonoured, rejected or reversed for any reason, you must immediately make that payment again. Additionally, you must not set off any money due and payable to you against money due by you to ezSolar.

  • if payment is not received by ezSolar when due, you consent to and authorise ezSolar to enter the installation address to repossess any system installed by ezSolar and to seek from you all costs for the repossession, loss in value of the repossessed system, wasted costs including but not limited to handling, installation and disbursements.

  1. Cooling-Off Period and Cancellation

  • ezSolar offers a cooling-off period during which customers may cancel their order at no cost, provided that order processing and delivery arrangements have not yet commenced.

  • Cancellations after installation work begins will incur a fee to cover labour and materials. To request a cancellation, please contact our order team at orders@ezsolar.com.au with your order reference number.

  1. Installation Access and Requirements

  • Customers must provide safe, unobstructed access to the installation site, including the switchboard, meter box, roof space, and any other areas required for system installation.

  • An authorised person (preferably the customer) must be present at the property for the entire duration of the installation to provide access, receive handover information and sign any required documentation.

  • If access is not available or site conditions are not suitable on the agreed installation date, ezSolar reserves the right to reschedule the installation and charge a rebooking fee.

  1. Extra Costing

PV Battery technology is fast-paced and ever-evolving and so are their safety and compliance requirements. We endeavour to do our best to assess your needs and circumstances to design a battery package that meets the safety and compliance requirements.

However, after our design, we occasionally identify an element of extra cost to achieve the required safety and compliance which we were unable to properly assess prior.

If we do identify extra costs then we will discuss this with you prior to the work being carried out so that you can take an informed decision whether to go ahead with the installation.

  • Product exchanges will incur a fee once the order has been confirmed and the goods have been delivered to the installation site.

  • In cases where the existing electrical infrastructure or metering system at the installation address is outdated or incompatible with the new system, additional charges may apply. This includes, but is not limited to, costs associated with obtaining network approval for meter consolidation or upgrading existing meters to meet current compliance standards.

ezSolar will advise you of any such additional costs once the network provider or electricity distributor completes their assessment. These costs are determined by the relevant utility authorities and are outside ezSolar's standard service pricing.

  1. Goods and Services Warranty

  • Goods Warranty (Solar Products)

      1. All solar products sold by ezSolar are covered by manufacturer warranties, which may vary by product.
      2. Warranty periods and terms are specified by the manufacturer and provided with your system documentation.
      3. Customers should retain their purchase records and warranty documents for reference.
  • Installation and Workmanship Warranty

      1. Our installation services are backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty, covering the quality of our labour and system installation.
      2. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, external factors (e.g. weather events), or unauthorised modifications.

At any stage, if you attach any batteries yourself /your chosen electrician with the PV/Battery System supplied by us then it voids the entire warranty for your entire system.

Any unauthorised alterations, integrations, or additions to the system may affect performance, safety, and compliance, and may result in the loss of all product and installation warranty coverage.

  1. Refunds

You will be entitled to a refund in the following circumstances:

  • If the electricity distributor declines the grid connection application; or

  • If we are unable to proceed with the installation of the system due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

In such cases, ezSolar will provide a full refund of all payments made by you, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred by us in relation to your contract. These may include, but are not limited to, grid connection application fees, council approval fees, or other administrative charges.

  1. Termination

  • ezSolar may terminate or suspend access to any services ezSolar provided immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the terms outlined herein.

  • All provisions of the terms outlined herein which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

  1. Governing Law

The terms outlined herein shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these terms will remain in effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our services, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the services.
